List of GAMING NETWORKS | Requirements & Details

Actually? I never really got the whole "gross" and "NET" revenue thing. So GROSS is like the total earnings and YouTube make take like 40%, and we are left with the 60%? Then we get 100% of the remaining earnings? Like what? Obviously that does not make sense. Could you explain it? :) Thanks!

Hi good thread. Gross revenue = what you get % wise after google's cut E.G you have a CPM of 10$, google takes 45% leaving you with $5.50, 100% Gross revenue would = $5.50, 100% net revenue = after subtracting things such as staff payments therefore it can be easily disguised, networks that offer 100% Net revenue are saying that purely to try and lure people into thinking the deal is better than it actually is.

Also would you mind adding Creative Nation to this list (www.creativen.org) ? We are moving MCN's from Zoomin to ForelaDigital (Same ad sales people as Zoomin), we accept gamers.

How many of your videos are JUST gameplay? :/ To be honest; having commentary over your gameplay is what really protects it under "fair use." Unless you know that the game publisher is okay with having people post gameplay and videos about the game, your safest bet is to always have some sort of commentary. You can contact Age of Gaming support. I think they are pretty fast!

All are gameplay. Alot of my videos are claimed by 3rd party so I don't even know how I became partner in the first place. I don't do commentary because I don't like it. I hate when people talk during gameplay :p

Without commentary gameplay's are at high risk of getting a copyright strike.

Nice list!

The only things I can point out is that putting the %s down is bad, because ALL networks can change their % for bigger channels.
Also TGN`s split is 60/40 not 80/20 :p

Also I`d recommend instead of putting "sub-network" you list them as both propierty networks and content aggregators because there`s quite a difference between the 2 ;)

As I understand it, when it comes down to it, the net split can be pretty much ignored. The gross split is the amount that you actually make.

So, Gross is what networks advertise for? It's the money that shows up on the analytics on YouTube? Is that money that shows up AFTER YouTube takes their cut? You get one half the of the GROSS and then the network and YouTube take the other?

Thanks for the post![DOUBLEPOST=1366336120,1366335814][/DOUBLEPOST]

Crap. I uploaded the wrong TGN picture. My good copy has the 60%/40% split. I will fix that!

The % is for the rough details of joining. I feel that most people on here looking for a network will not really have that big of a gaming channel. Once you get a lot of views per month, you can obviously negotiate with a network. I also included "Depends on Channel" for a few that I knew will negotiate or can give you a different contract out of the ordinary if you get a certain amount of views or higher. I mean, some of these networks may give you a higher revenue share contract even if your channel is not huge, but a descent size. I will include that in the disclaimer though. Thanks!

Also, could you tell me what the difference is? I thought sub-networks and content aggregators were essentially the same thing. :O

Thanks Shane![DOUBLEPOST=1366336400][/DOUBLEPOST]

So, really I have to worry about the NET? So, the money on YouTube Analytics will be the money my videos are earning straight away, and will have already subtracted YouTube's cut? So the money I am earning on there is essentially what I am making, except without the network taking their split?

Yes, Shane's new network CN looks great! But I wanted this post to be just about gaming strictly. I may add a section if there is enough space for networks that have a gaming aspect to it, but except everyone? Otherwise it will just turn into a list in general and Shane already has a detailed list of a bunch of them!

Thanks for all the help bro! :)[DOUBLEPOST=1366336469][/DOUBLEPOST]
Could you add Azurenetworktv- We are under Zoomin- We have a 80%/20% split- 1 year contract with a 3 month trial period requirements: 200 views per day,8k views monthly,No Copyright and no disabled adsense thanx

I will delete this post once added on the list ! :)

Will do.; and you are a network focused on gaming? :)

As I understand it, under "Ad Performance", "Gross Revenue" is the revenue earned before ANY cuts are taken. Estimated Earnings is after Youtube's cut, and you need to apply you're Network's Gross Cut to the Estimated Earnings to have a rough idea of what you're making.

Btw, his name's Shane, not Shaun :p

Yes, that makes sense. Thanks!

And oh wow; for some reason I have been saying "Shaun" instead of "Shane." -.- Haha he's very helpful! Sorry about that and thanks for correcting me. :)
