I Want To Review YOUR Channel In This Thread!!!

Can you give mine a look? I'm still working out some kinks and such but wanted to know what you think

I've seen your channel before, and I remember liking it! You upload videos in a timely manner, and your channel background looks really nice! The one critical thing I have to say is you come off as a little bored. I watched Dungeon Defenders #4 and #5, and in both, you sounded really bored at the beginning, like you didn't really want to do those recordings. In the videos when you have other people with you, you seem more excited, try to replicate that attitude! It isn't too bad, but you don't come off as overly enthusiastic. However, on a positive note, it's not that bad, and I think you're entertaining in other ways. I think you have a good sense of humor, and you guys are good at making thumbnails and setting up a beautiful video! I think overall, you have a good channel, and if you try to sound more pumped to be recording, you'll be much better off![DOUBLEPOST=1358543145,1358542734][/DOUBLEPOST]

I like your Top 10 videos, but you should probably include yourself talking about why you picked some of them, or explain in detail what some of the stuff mean. For example, in the highest paid, it'd be cool if in the background, you were talking about how they get the money, and where it comes from. How much is salary, how much is endorsements? I think that'd help you out a bit. Now, I think your channel is very cool, with all the lists and stuff, and you have a variety of topics (and you have a lot on the NBA, which I love!!!). However, your video on Top 10 players in NBA history, in my opinion, DEMANDS explanation. Also, why disable comments on some videos? If I made videos like this, I'd love to see what people agree with and disagree with. Some people will talk trash and say your opinion sucks and your stupid, but others may have honest and legitimate opinions on your list. Community interaction is a big deal, and getting rid of comments is a nice way to break that connection.

Just some thoughts, hope this helps :).
hey thanks for the honest feedback. it will help me improve my videos

Sorry guys, I completely forgot this topic existed. Anyway, here goes!

Hey, I am really interested to get a review so I don't go wrong in 2013! :)

I like your CoD videos, but your channel has DIFFERENT CoD videos, which is good. I mean you have the clan tag videos, the comparison of Black Ops and Modern Warfare, and other stuff. It's not just simply montages, which is good, since it makes your channel stand out in a really large crowd of CoD commentators. Your idea of allowing anybody to join your clan is also a good way of getting subs involved in your channel, and thus making them more active! One thing I might recommend is to go back to what you were doing before. You used to do Minecraft, you have one LoL video and a couple Happy Wheels ones. Try to mix it up, get some variety out there. If you're focused on JUST Call of Duty, the you can ignore this, but it seems to me that you're willing to expand, and that could influence a wider audience to subscribe to your channel.[DOUBLEPOST=1358787090,1358786689][/DOUBLEPOST]

First thing, I really like the Kingdom Hearts in Minecraft videos. They were really good, and the setting in those games seem awesome (I know you didn't design it, but I love it!) It's also the first of those videos I've seen on Youtube, since I usually just see Hunger Games or those gun shooting ones, so this is unique in that sense. Same with your Tekkit videos! I think your commentary is smooth, you just need more experience, and some more enthusiasm, but those come with time.

One thing I didn't like, and it's a minor thing that I could be overthinking, is the fact that you have your 1st, 10th, 20th, 30th, 40th, and 50th sub on there, and a link to their channels. I'll be honest, once I subbed, I was thinking about unsubbing and waiting until you had 9 before going back, and I might not be the only one that'll think that. People love getting their channel name out there, and doing this may make some people hesitant to sub until a later point. Just a thought, though, and it's cool you're willing to give recognition to your subs like that :)

You already have 130 subs with only 2 vids??? Talk about me being jealous haha, but seriously, you're fun to listen to. Your first video, it was tough to hear you, but it was better in your 2nd video, so whatever changes you made between the two, don't change them. You're still really new, but I have to say, you mad some huge improvements from your first video to your second, and you're playing a genre that basically creates the entertainment for you (horror games, I mean). Your background also looks nice, but I don't like when people have background icons that can't be clicked on (your Twitter, Facebook, and other links). Still, for being a brand new channel, your content is really good, and you have a bright future ahead of yourself. You already have a ton of comments, views, and subs, though, so those numbers speak for themselves.

Thanks so much bro for the review :) yeah I got told about my audio being low so I changed my settings! I'm actually redesigning everything right now so it's more of a "theme" for my channel and getting rid of the links and images.

Thanks again for the kind words!

I also subbed to you to watch your content after designing and recording :)
Stay blessed bro

I'd gladly hear what you think about mine :)

I'm going to just review your two Don't Starve videos, just since the other ones are really old.
First and foremost, you need to get EXCITED. You sound bored to death in your videos. You don't talk a whole lot, there are a lot of pauses between commentary, and you're so quiet. You say some funny thing at times, but you need to have commentary that instantly grabs the viewer, and I'll be honest, your commentary didn't do that for me. Not because you're boring, but when you sound bored, it has a radiating effect on your viewers. It's a problem I have as well, and something I've been working on, but just think of it this way: how you sound, is how your viewers will feel. Try to be louder, maybe turn your mic volume up during the editing phase, speak with some emotion!!! You say some really entertaining things, and you're funny, but you have to sell it. It's not always about what you say, but how you say it! :)

Now, some positives, you have high quality videos, even in 360p your videos are beautiful! Yes, most people have HD, but your HD is nice, not fake or ugly. Your videos are really sharp, and it's pleasing to the eye. Overall, you seem to have potential, just try to work on your emotion a bit, and I think you could have a really good thing going for you!
