Do you still have the contract you agreed to ??? I keep mine in a saved file. If not get them to email it to you in the end your stuck at the mercy of them as soon as you clicked your channel over to them on youtube. Machinma has long contracts to by the way and last i heard they were paying bad to

there is no such thing as a verbal contract.

hmm ... so its only by paper and if you don`t agree they can`t do anything with your channel, not affect your adsense (if you have) ?

He must have signed a contract, Acifin send a contract, I`ve seen it and it does state a 5 year lock-in.

The YT average is between 2.50 and 3 dollars. Most Machinima partners make 3 - 3.50

At one point there were signing never ending contracts but after being hit hard they put evert one from never ending conteacts down to 3 years and like i said last i heatd they had bad capped cpm

2 years should be the longest you ever sign for a network.

If it's longer then that there are better options out there.

Maker (Except RPM) - 2 Years
Machinima Affiliate - s**t long time
Machinima Partner - 1-3 Years

Of course they fluxuate as they offer different things to different people.
