How to get more views(approximately 1000 views more a day)

thats true i've seen this happen to my friend he had to close his youtube and start another one of so much hate he created lol...

Hmm, I've heard of AdWords, but wasn't too sure about using it on my YouTube channel. I'll give it a go after I get a few more videos up and report some results :p

This seems like a never ending loop idea, you pay to get your videos promoted, you get more views you get more money to pay for promotion and it keeps going, is Youtube really that stupid to where they would allow you to monetize a video at the same time it is promoted?

Well, you are paying more than you are earning. The only way to really benefit from this is to convert those views into subs. In order to achieve this I would at least turn pre-roll ads OFF. The viewer is already coming through an ad, you don't want to make him sit through a pre-roll vid before getting to your content. This way you are making less on this one view, but you are more likely to gain a loyal follower.

Also choose your promoted video wisely, make it an gateway vid. Don't just use any video, make one specifically for your adwords campaign, that combines the qualities of a regular video of your's with the qualities of a channel-trailer.

I've used Google Adwords and although it does get users a lot of views, a good majority of those viewers only come once and usually not for long :/ If you're looking for viewers then this is definitely the system for you but if you're looking to build a community and build a subscriber base I would recommend against it. Companies have researched that this system actually works against you in the YouTube search because the search puts videos that have viewers stay on for longer at the top of the search rather than videos where people just come and go. Again, this is a good use to bring up that viewer count, but other methods are better for building a community :)

This plan "paying for ads" and then reaping what you earn makes sense, it has a very "shady business" like feel to it positively, seeing as how you will....or hopefully will be making money at the end of the day. It does seem like theres always a risk when doing something like this, and if YouTube were to ever look into it for whatever reason it could mean bad things. I'm in no means going to say why they would as im not educated enough on this method, but a little too risky for me.

There is nothing shady about it. And you're not making money, your loosing it. You pay more for the ads that get you the views than what you are going to earn. Yes, you might get lucky and hit a high cpm day, but that's highly unlikely.

The only way to rig the system would be to pay for ads on a day on which you KNOW that you're gonna have a high cpm. Like when you're with Fullscreen and are doing one of their Gorilla campaigns. And even then you are not hurting anyone. More like the opposite. You are rounding up viewers who don't have adblockers - they did see your ad... - and who are likely to click on ads - they did click on yours... That is actually good for the person who is advertising on your video... they want to get clicked.

But I'd say you are less likely to gain subscribers from this then from promoting an other video of yours. In the end you got them to click your ad to then show them another ad for something different than yourself. So your just waving them through, instead of making them stay.
