How many Subscribers defines a BIG Youtuber?

I've always seen it as smaller YouTubers are under 10K, 10K - 100K medium 100K - 500K medium big and 500K BIG :)

Fair analysis, but when you consider the 100th most subscribed channel from the UK alone has 1.6m subscribers, there needs to be a few categories above that! ;)

I usually add another one but I couldn't be bother to think of a word bigger than big so :')

Why is the size of a YouTube Channel for you guys determined by the amount of subscribers and not the amount of views?
My channel has 5400 subscribers and 1.150.000 views.
Would you say a channel with 10.000 subscribers and 300.000 views is bigger than mine?

I'd say 100k. If you think about it, that's a huge accomplishment.[DOUBLEPOST=1451423030,1451422967][/DOUBLEPOST]

Views mean someone clicked a video. They didn't stay. Subs matters more in my personal opinion (AS LONG AS THEY'RE ACTIVE SUBS). I'd rather have 1000 subs than 5000 views.

I'd just go by those play buttons that YouTube gives out. Top tier is 10 million subs, so that's a fair estimate of what constitutes a big channel. When they announced the new tier level at Vidcon, 42 channels were already eligible to receive it. There's 54 channels currently over 10M.
