False copyright claims

Technically you don't know that as they haven't mentioned it. so once i get the email then everything should be clear.

Jesus H Christ you need to stop giving monetization advice. The amount of worthless driven coming from your keyboard about this is mind boggling. The Blizzard page specifically prohibits paid content, meaning the user has to pay to access it. YouTube and other ad supported sites are not prohibited as the user is not required to pay for this content. It goes even further (and without naming the company, is still specifically about Twitch and it's subscription services) and specifies that users may indeed host their content on sites with premium, ie. paid accounts as long as users can still access that content for free.

Nearly everything you have said about not being able to monetize game content thus far is incorrect.

The majority of game developers have given permission for this kind of content with some notable exceptions like Rockstar and Nintendo.

The whole reason why they put out open policies like the one linked in this thread is to avoid having to answer emails from every channel under the sun asking if it's ok.
You need to stop swearing, no one likes a potty mouth and i was helping someone out with a simple answer. PLUS again im waiting for an email then i will post it here.
The dumbest thing I ever read.
you try it then and get banned.

I was unaware that we were still in elementary school where good ole JC was considered heavy swearing artillery. You were "helping" someone with the wrong answer and doing so in a manner that indicates you have extreme conviction despite the lack of requisite knowledge. The letter you have requested is irrelevant and worthless as Blizzard has publicly posted their policy, which has been mentioned several times but you have yet to read.

While it is certainly good that people come to YTTalk with their opinions, it does far more damage than good when they state incorrect information as fact under the guise of helping.

Look, as said by @Tarmack the majority of them have video policy's and allow monetization like Mojang, Valve and Ubisoft. Whether or not you have commentary doesn't matter in most cases unless stated in the terms of the respective game dev.

I have seen a couple of your videos and you have no commentary. you cannot monetize a game without your own commentary.

I have almost 900 gaming video's and all them have no commentary + monetize. Never had problems with strikes(content id match here and there but no strikes) so your statement is false. I avoid though uploading content of harsh companies like Sega and Nintendo.

Scobalula just nailed it xD

well technically im not false as you need to contact the owners. i already contacted blizzard as some people here think they can and i have the email. might make a separate thread because people here doesn't know the law.

My product (i bought it) my footage, my gameplay, I have the right to post it and make money.

Just because google kisses corporate a** doesn't mean the game companies have the right to say what costumers can do with a product they already purchased.

If any game company disagrees I'll be happy to settle this in a court case. I'll also like them to defend on how they can command a costumer what to do with a product they purchased.

SPOILER ALERT: THEY CAN'T

You obviously know nothing about copyright.

Just because you purchased something does not mean you have the rights to the content. The second you do something against the terms and conditions that the company has placed on the content, it becomes illegal.

Taking it to court will not solve anything. You don't own legal rights to the content, and the case will be closed as soon as that information is announced.
