Other F1 2012 British Co-Op Championship

Yes sir, I've added you already, looked back a few pages, seen as you had mentioned it before.
And I'm attempting to race on the same options as MoD at the moment, medium traction control, with ABC, never really been used to having them turned off. Light on my fingers ain't my specialty, though I expect that comes from practice as well.

Yup, the only place I don't use the moniker "Watson690" is on XboxLive where I'm "Jebus690" (but it used to be "Watson690"). Add me on Skype if you want :)

Alrighty, so I've added Mr. Saurus and shared DF's details with Watson - I'm good for this any time apart from the next hour, I'm cooking food. So any convo requests or calls will sadly be ignored until I'm done :p

For the record, sausage and bacon sarnies - but I get good meat, and like to take my time with the extras such as fried diced onion... :3
 
So we had the test race earlier, and I think it's time to think about how it went. And honestly, from my point of view it couldn't have gone better.
We had 4 strong personalities in the same race, and not at one time did I think any one person was overpowering and trying to steal more air time than any other individual; this for me was my biggest worry(Watson can talk lots, I enjoy a creative lead whenever collaborating, Lewis has an EXCELLENT talking voice and commentary style and DF's just starting off and can be spoken over easily) and my fears were quickly put at ease. The only issue I had was poor call quality on Skype, which on our(Watson and I) end can be attributed to p**s-poor internet quality on a Sunday which is something we've gotten used to sadly.

I had a great laugh trying to drag a result out of the piece of s**t HRT, and I think everybody had an excuse to brag excessively about their race despite their results(for the outsider reading this, Lewis won, I didn't get a penalty which is rare for me, Watson beat a Lotus and DF didn't finish last)yet there was a massive lack of ego, just a good round of patting backs and looking forward to the next time. Like I said above, I was really worried about a clash of personalities and egos and I'm really chuffed it went as well as it did from my POV.

Race format wise, I think we found a good way to go about it. Perhaps one more race on a shorter circuit to make sure, but qualifying felt good and I'm fairly sure the race was just about the right length to be interesting for everyone.

Of course, I'm just one of four people. Just because I think it went well, doesn't mean anybody else does... ;)

I liked the length of the qualifying, reminded me of the old days before we had Q1, 2 and 3, and if we try making all the cars even next time (rather than each being at the 2012 setting) then we can all just choose teams that we like (Lotus for DF, Sauber for MoD etc). Another practice to try that though I think. Should be fun :D
 
I thought things went well. I did have them 2 penalties which if I'm honest, I totally deserved thanks to a s****y first few laps but still had a nice lil dual. Second stint went alot better, looking forward to seeing what we do in the future.
 
I ain't saying much otherwise, apart from that I went back to the pitstop seeing if I could turn down the volume even further, unfortunate I could only turn the music, what is odd, so I could barely hear what you three were chatting about, that's one of the main reasons why I just shut the hell up, and concentrated on the race.
Was fun times though, I'll just have to tweak those sound settings better next time.

Going back to this real quick, me and MoD are generally busy these days, it's like the one day a week that we each allow ourselves to socialise :p
