Evidence For Increased CPM With Networks?

to bad your channels not posted. helps to see stats and a channel

WEll that would break the anonymity, I'm trying to avoid any information that might bias things.

I figure by this point I haven't seen anyone say 'I joined a network and right away I was more profitable' so it can't be a common event.

Were not a biased forum, some people are, but if we have your stats we can help recommend the best option. Then again, if you choose to remain anonymous, its entirely your decision. You mentioned you were a gaming channel? If so, have you do you face getting around copyright issues? :p

Well I also want to avoid having my existing CPM associated with my channel, often the opening pitch by partner scouts is to try and dazzle me with a CPM. It's usually below my existing one. What stats would you need? 70k subs, 80k views/day.

Anyway, copyright has not been an issue, it's mostly indie games and the indie game devs come to me with games to features.

I'm not sure if Curse/Union For Gamers is still no-lock in or not, but if they are still no lock-in, you can join them and see if your earnings go up or down and if it goes down you can just leave. That way you can gather some evidence for yourself and not be bound by a contract.

Pretty sweet channel :)

You may get some advice from Flammy he's a gaming channel as well and just started a partnership trial that he may be able to give you some information about.

I'd be happy to discuss your question and offer my knowledge. Finding a guaranteed option above a $10-$11 CPM is definitely possible.

I feel I'm in some sort of rut - too big to be desperate to sign on to anything that might help me grow, not big enough to benefit from sponsorship deals.

You need to be aware of the high end exclusive networks. Normal network offers are absolutely becoming less and less relevant for your channel. I just went thru this entire process and wish someone had told me about them when I was first asking here on yttalk.

I ended up joining a network called Omnia. My CPM went from about half of yours to a bit more than yours, however that is related to my content and channel size more than anything else. What Omnia did, which no other 'normal' network would even think about is to look at what services I wanted and estimate how much their revenue share was worth, and make these balance. As you say, $10,000 a year or more is ridiculous for most of the 'services' (or non service) that large networks provide.

I'm sending you a PM with some contact info, or feel free to PM me on YouTube.
