Do You Think Youtube is a Dying Platform

It's the 2nd largest search engine in the world. Of course it's not dying. But it seems like you can't really rely on ads anymore so you gotta be creative if you ever want to generate revenue. It's getting very hard to get noticed though but that's what weeds out the ones who are in it for real and the ones who took to Youtube to make a quick buck.
 
I wouldn't say it's dying, but I feel like YouTube has been making lots of changes that are making people want to turn away from it (adpocalypse, the new layout, etc).
