So far Twitter seems to be helping me the most. The problem with Facebook for me is that I only just joined to help promote my channel. I never really bothered with it before this point. So as a result I have a very low amount of friends on there and I'm struggling to spread the word about the page I created.

I'm also using a blog where I link the videos from YT, but that doesn't seem to be making a whole lot of difference as the view count on the posts is very low.

Recently (a few days ago), I also joined Pinterest after reading people recommending it to promote. Not really seen any boost yet, but it's still early.

I honestly feel like Reddit is the least effective. People are so picky and critical there, and you'll often find dislikes on your videos because of Reddit if you aren't careful.
I primarily use Facebook, Tumblr, and Twitter. :)
Yea people on reddit are always so p****d off lol. But idk, I personally got the most views ans subs from Reddit its weird!

Someone posted a couple of my videos on reddit and it definitely gave them a boost.

For me, I'd say Facebook and reaching out to relevant Facebook pages was most effective.
Twitter is good for reaching out to like-minded creators.
Google+, my website, tumblr and instagram have variable success but generate views too.
Oh, and YouTube itself - being active and being active in comment sections of similar sections (obviously not spamming or self-promoting).

They will smash any content that did not impress them for sure. I posted this tip in a couple spots, but the trick is to only post your vid where they will be impressed, and if you can't think of a spot then you are better off not posting ;). There are a million subs, skip all the popular ones and drill into who your audience is and find that sub with 500 people that will go 'that was cool!'.

I find facebook not very interactive at all. I get a few views from twitter. Igers stick mostly to my instagram, they don't go onto my channel. I find that yttalk is the most helpful than all of those social media put together.

I like facebook and twitter the most for this. I've never tried pinterest, Instagram hasn't helped me, and reddit was minimally helpful.
