It appears Sling has added more channels than I previously knew about. To get the more channels you have to pay more though.

yes, they now offer 5 bucks more for different packages. used to be an extra 20. Now it's just 5 bucks more. The Sports package is 10 dollars more but comes with NFL RedZone and NHL Network which I love because NFL RedZone and NHL Network were an extra 50 a month with Xfinity.

What is it? I heard about this earlier today, but didn't get a chance to research
It's a service like Sling TV where you can stream over 40 channels of TV online with unlimited "DVR" recording space. It also gives you access to YouTube Red content. There's a little more to it, but those are the basics.

As for my thoughts, right now while living with my parents, I probably won't wind up getting it. But in a few years, while living on my own, if it's still around, I would consider it over satellite or cable tv.

Personally, I think there are a *ton* of threads regarding YouTube TV on this forum that are currently active

Hmmm I think I have mixed feelings about it, but probably mostly because I rarely watch tv. :D

Fun fact, I watched a video about youtube algorithm and that guy said something about youtube investing a lot of promotion on new things like 4k videos and DVR ones..this means they will do the same with this TV thing.

What I'm trying to say is that videos like this have way more chances at getting tons of views just because they are about that, while the other type are a little bit left behind. The bigger picture? Every time something new appears (TV), the smaller channels get even smaller.
