YouTube Problems: Uncreativity

You've basically just alienated all of Youtube. XD
Yeah i should be more neutral. But people shouldnt be trying to copy others, and do it for money. Youtube used to be a place of originality, creativity, community, CATS! We have to do something, or maybe our community here at yttalk can be a small group who reciognize them

There's a hell of a lot of creative Youtubers out there, it's just digging through the rest of the other channels to find them and once you find one good channel it usually leads to more!

I honestly think that everyone has the potential to be unique. I for example have got a wonderful idea, but I can't do it alone, it's a case of finding the right people to work with. I think my plan is one of the most unique things ever done, but it's all about enjoyment and if people would take a chance. I'm afraid on YouTube you judge a book my its cover.

We should all connect with each other. Give constructive criticism, like, share the videos, shoutouts, all that good stuff. But only if they deserve it

So true. You have to really catch attention, or they click out of the video.

Oh god. You act as though currency is the only reason people do YouTube anymore. Honestly I know quite a few people who do YouTube JUST as a hobby. They've never even heard of what a "Partnership" is.

Yes there are many channels based around content purely to make money but those channels usually don't get the attention they deserve because they don't enjoy what they do. Those who enjoy making content about that subject will in the end shine out brighter than those who don't.

I was trying to make a point, and yes, i pit gaming twice. There's the gamers who really like to open up and make enjoyable videos, and there are copycats. )
I'm sorry. I wasn't aware that gaming in itself is considered "copying" if you weren't there in 2006. Let me just quickly shut down my channels cause clearly they are unoriginal and uninspired because I look up to other channels that do similar content to me. That the time, work and effort I put into my videos are at a loss because I wasn't there "first".

I personally think that people are too critical of YouTubers these days. Take me, I've only just started out and at first, nobody gave two hoots about my channel because of my voice, lack of art/thumbnails and now I've just got 100 subs. I think it's sad that we make judgement so early, but it's a part of our humanity.[DOUBLEPOST=1400103735,1400103674][/DOUBLEPOST]

To be fair, some people have to now live off YouTube but I agree that YouTube should be something you enjoy and although it's good to pocket a few pounds, I think fun is the main motivator.
