YouTube Problems: Uncreativity

No, i am not here to b***h about how people aren't creative, or be extremely hypocritical like 80% or so of the rant channels. I may be a young, stupid 13 year old and i am different from alot of others.
13 year olds on youtube: omg he sed dicks lololollol *subscribes*
Me: this person makes great videos, i really like their content, and i dont like it to assimilate to youtube culture!

Wait, what am i even doing? Being a total narcissist? I have to stop that.

With that, i come to my main issue:
Rant channels- say the same thing, usually have either 12 year old hipsters or trolls

Gaming channels - play the same games as big guys; commentary is not fun to listen to

Reused ideas- to give you an idea, yesterday i saw a kid who copied a smosh video and remade it, and claimed it was his and continued to post a video that smosh stole their idea, even tho it was made 5 years earlier

High standards- no pro camera, no
Pro audio? You dont make burst out laughing? Im just gonna leave you here with a dislike without constructive criticism!

Comedy channels that aren't that funny (like us, even tho we are doing it for fun!) - smosh wannabes trying to be famous so they can make it rain by failing miserably at comedy
!

***ingcamperyoukillefmea**t*tsyourmomisawjore channels. - self explanitory? Overused games, and attempting to copy pewdiepie ( who i dont like so dont say im fanboying -_-)

What do you think we can do to try and inject creativity back to our beloved site? (Even if google screwed it up big time!)

Uploading videos would be a good start :)
Yeah i know, but i'm the only one of my two friends who does what he's told, and does not postpone our shoots by getting in trouble!

As for other youtubers, i agree as long as you think it's original, and arent in it to make it rain on dem garden hoes

First rule of youtube, Don't have a channel that is reliant on multiple people unless the multiple people have previous proved they can do it. It will never work out and ever week will be another excuse. Focus on doing everything solo then keep other plans for the rare time that everyone is reliable.

This will help you out big time in the long run.

It will but we are together in it, we all have come up with some brilliant ideas. All they have to do is stop jacking off to hatsune miku and make some videos with me! :D and technically, i own the channel so once again, :D. I agree with you though, especially if it's someone who is using you. But im not making videos myself, we agreed to do it together!

Problem I'm having is that for all the new games I find, there's already tons of videos on them.

Rant Channels - Are channels that usually thrive off of articulating their thoughts and opinions on certain subjects and bringing them to a new light rather than sticking with the popular opinion.

Gaming Channels - Are an over saturated portion of YouTube where it is easy to post content of, where people can share their gameplay and experiences with others through means of video.

Reused ideas - There is no point in arguing this. Honestly. Everyone has done something someone else has already done. There's no point in trying to validate the reason for making a video on the same concept other than the fact that "I wanted to do this because it seemed fun"

High Standards - "Your video is poop because you have low quality so I'm going to leave a dislike without any constructive criticism." Well aren't you helping the community quite a bit? Rather than letting them know that the quality is low and they should work towards improving it to not only grow their channel but help them learn from the experience you're going to leave them with a demotivating dislike on a video they may have worked hard on.

Comedy Channels - When you compare a majority of channels to the very simplest of internet comedians such as Smosh I think there's a problem here. To be completely honest I find their humor to be very basic and childish. Though it's not wrong when channels look up to Smosh for inspiration for a video. In fact I recommend it. It helps develop their skills at creating good content.

Ok. Gaming channels twice? Really? They aren't that bad. Honestly. Sure there's lots of people doing it, though some of these channels may surprise you with their content quality.

Stop the negativity surrounding each individual genre of video because it encourages users to be more like the big guys rather than forging their own path to follow to hopefully make them unique.

I think it's because ever since 2012 all these gaming channels began popping up. Everyone sees that, "hey, i can get a bajillion subscribers and get private hoes if i do this too!"
Play the games, but be original, creative, something they would want. Most importantly, speak clearly and in an enthusiastic way! :)

I was trying to make a point, and yes, i pit gaming twice. There's the gamers who really like to open up and make enjoyable videos, and there are copycats. I know i am really hard to go "wow! I love this" so yes, i should be neutral. But this is a serious issue on our site, we must bring back the days of 2005-2011! (Yes, i sound like a hipster. I looked at these videos before youtube was cool! >;3 jk)
