If that happens I'm going to start calling Youtube a bubble. If anywhere you could be earning alot, this is a good time to get into it, CPMs are meant to double over the next 14 months![]()

That's true. If I go to a community college and do youtube part time, I'll come out of college with no debt. My problem is that I hate school...Well if you've got this far on youtube in 3 years and looking at your channels stats your growth is really good! You could have a channel and be making a lot more then you think, people are always going to be using youtube and now that its on a stable company (google) it shouldn't be going anywhere but like I said.. While doing youtube full time this could give you the chance to study something on the side which really interests you without having to worry about money, then if youtube crashes and burns in 10 years or you want to stop you have a fall back![]()
You where trying to get him to not try youtube full time.. I'm saying he should go for it but have a fall backwhat you mean anyways dude? you just said what i was trying to tell him but you were arguing with me for some strange reason...lol

Youtube CPMs are still way down compared to T.Vs CPMs, I know that the average payout that RTE (Ireland`s tv channel) , gets is about 250$ per 1000 views or something like that :| (and they get less views than some bigger channels on YouTube)If that happens I'm going to start calling Youtube a bubble.

well everyone has their own opinions I respect yours i wasnt saying not do youtube at all i just think it would be better if youtube was the fallback not the main considering like he said before.Who knows where theyll be in however so many years. You where trying to get him to not try youtube full time.. Yes but I'm guessing you wouldn't go for a full time course.. This means you would do most of the work in the comfort of your own homeThat's true. If I go to a community college and do youtube part time, I'll come out of college with no debt. My problem is that I hate school...

If youtube was the fallback.. That means he would be relying on youtube more...well everyone has their own opinions I respect yours i wasnt saying not do youtube at all i just think it would be better if youtube was the fallback not the main considering like he said before.Who knows where theyll be in however so many years.
no you rely more on your main job a fallback is a backup jobIf youtube was the fallback.. That means he would be relying on youtube more...
but let me rephrase it, it would be better as extra money support rather than a main support.you get what im saying now?Youtube CPMs are still way down compared to T.Vs CPMs, I know that the average payout that RTE (Ireland`s tv channel) , gets is about 250$ per 1000 views or something like that :| (and they get less views than some bigger channels on YouTube)
So CPMs are going up at a massive rate as more advertisers move over to the internet.
So being in a network that has close ties to advertisers and has their own ad-sales team is the kind to join atm![]()
