Top 10 people on YouTube?? lol more like the top 10,000 , if you`re partnered with a high paying network and you are getting 25,000+ views daily that`s easily a day job...
With my average CPM and split if I was getting 25k views daily, I`d be making 240$ a day or 87600$ yearly and according to Socialblade.com there`s 53,458 channels getting more than 25k views daily :p

I'm going to do Youtube fulltime during the Summer and see where it goes. My problem is I don't know where Youtube will be in 10 years and that's what scares me.

hey dude ive had like 3 other people say its more than 10 i know that dont have to keep repeating what they said.....lol

Even with a lower CPM you would be making 30k a year.

If anywhere you could be earning alot, this is a good time to get into it, CPMs are meant to double over the next 14 months ;)

Well if you've got this far on youtube in 3 years and looking at your channels stats your growth is really good! You could have a channel and be making a lot more then you think, people are always going to be using youtube and now that its on a stable company (google) it shouldn't be going anywhere but like I said.. While doing youtube full time this could give you the chance to study something on the side which really interests you without having to worry about money, then if youtube crashes and burns in 10 years or you want to stop you have a fall back :)
