I think people tend to share way too much of their personal life with the Internet, and it sets the stage for potential online drama. Plus, humans are more likely to share when bad things happen than when good things happen because we like sympathy. Mix in the potential to get more views when bad stuff happens, and we have a recipe for drama. Drama is a normal human thing, but I think those who regularly participate in it tend to focus their energy on the present and never really think about how it may affect their future. During my short little life on this planet as a working person, I've learned that "we meet everyone at least twice," and it is worth it to make an effort to be pleasant. No one knows what the future holds, and how unnecessary drama may affect things later. ^^
So yeah...there are a lot of youtubers jumping on the drama bandwagon for some extra attention, but there are still many who haven't (and many who never will). ^_^
