I just delete those comments.
I give them no thought.

They are only after one thing; another subscriber.
I never take those comments seriously. They don't watch your content, they just want another number, and probably spam that same message to 100x other channels.

Sub4sub is the Youtube equivalent of spam. Would you ever respond to spam? The choice seems clear. Ignore.

I would just tell them "thanks for asking but I don't sub 4 sub." It's not being mean. It's being upfront and honest.

I would personally just not respond. I subscribe to who I want. You should too. You shouldn't feel like you have to subscribe to someone because they subscribed to you.
