Your "Sole Purpose" on YouTube

What's everyone real purpose on YouTube?
Everyone wants something from it. Everyone has story.
Either its, the fame, income, attention, enjoyment, practice, etc.

My honesty, I wanted to build a channel for income. For the past 10+ years I never had a job that I loved. Always stressed, unhappy or either overworked.

I feel more alive when I create and edit video. I love em. This is one thing I want to do as a job, not for someone but for me.

What's your story?
 
Mine is for the fans, not nessesarily fame, but I guess is that I think about it kind of, just being a big channel, having fans, that would be amazing, and maybe income, but not really
 
To be completely honest I want to entertain people. Also, I want to have people look forward to it. If fame comes with it so be it :giggle:
 
At the moment it's a hobby for me.
I enjoy it when people laugh at my videos.
I enjoy meeting people at Comic-Cons and filming them.
I guess the Sole Purpose for me is the socialising with people, that I would probably never even meet if it wasn't for my YouTube hobby.
 
Money. I am in the same boat as you, don't like my job and I find I have no issue working hard on videos. Really I just don't want to go back to remodeling this spring
 
If we're looking at one purpose, then certainly it is to turn YouTube into a meaningful source of income. However, I would also say that the purpose of my channel is to provide fitness content without the fluff and anecdotes typically found in all other fitness channels.
