Why you want to be a Youtube Creator??

I wanted to become a creator to document my life for my friends and family. It gives me joy that there will be something my children will be able to follow when they are old enough.

that my main focus. Im a power lifter and If anything was to happen to me I want my son to know his dad was a strong role model
Yeah I went and clicked on your channel after I saw your post to see what you did. You son is lucky to have a dad like you. I would have loved to have seen what my dad was like back in his younger days. Alas, YouTube was not a thing and even if it was he probably would have never used it haha. It is really great for future grandkids too. I never really knew my dad's parents and would liked to have a little more interaction with them. Even if it was just watching some videos they made like 30-40 odd years ago

The short version is that I do video work professionally with my wife, lots of weddings, commercials, etc. And while I love what I do for work, it's still work. I grew up shooting videos and taking photos, it was a big part of my family, and my only creative outlet in a family of fine artists (painters, graphic design, etc). Work picked up a handful of years ago which is great, but I stopped creating for fun. Recently, I had a guest at a wedding ask if I did any narrative work or any video work for fun outside of weddings. My word for word response was "No, not anymore." I didn't even think what I was saying but immediately it hit me how depressing that response was. So, I found my old youtube account, which had lost a lot of followers in it's 6-7 year hiatus, and started making daily videos. Mostly vlogs as I feel we lead interesting lives, and travel very frequently, but also some gear reviews and business tips.

It's been great creating with no expectations and no stresses put on me by a client, and I think ultimately it's helpful to my paid work as well. While I really enjoy doing the vlogs I also love teaching and have been doing video work professionally for 9 years now, and this has been a great outlet to also share thoughts on different pieces of gear, business practices, etc.

I wrote a blog post for a place called photography awesomsauce about this whole experience and my main point I wanted to drive into the readers was to make sure that you DO WHAT YOU LOVE, and DON'T JUST LOVE WHAT YOU DO.

Why you want to be a Youtube Creator??
What are your's motive or why you want to be a Youtube Creator. About myself, I want to be a creator to be famous, to entertain people and finally to discover the real person inside me. If you want to know much about me then, go to my Channel and Watch my Videos as well as don't forget to reply "Why you want to be a Youtube Creator??"

Personally I was kinda jealous of all the Youtubers I was watching! It al seemed like they had so much fun being themselves online and I just started asking myself why I wasn't doing something similar just for the fun of it. So after talking with myself about being on the internet full face ect, I decided to just go and do it!

I have always loved the performing arts, but I'm an absolutely terrible actor. I've been writing and directing plays for a long time (about 20 years), but that process takes a very long time to get a production off the ground, so I love the fact that I can think up a concept, film it, edit it, and have it out in front of an audience far larger than what I get in local theater, all within the span of a day!

Plus, it gets my mug out there where I don't get to be onstage very often (see above: terrible actor).
