I recently held off on posting videos to Reddit because of the amount of unconstructive critism and dislikes I've been getting.

So I recently posted a video and here's the hate I got, also 4 dislikes on my video.

By the way - all of the "sort of" constructive criticism I got was debunked in the video.

Edit: Black bar at the bottom was because thumbnail hadn't loaded yet ;)

I'm not hating on your video, but usually if the video is good enough, reddit will like it. There's lotta hate, but not as much as 4chan :D

Reddit is actually a great place to have your videos on. Lots of YouTubers go viral and become big that way, for example GradeAUnderA. It just depends if the video is good or not, no offense. I watched your video and you did not make any good points, so that's why it got hate.

Reddit is an awesome source of subscribers and views. It really depends on where you post the stuff.

you can go to the biggest one which is https://www.reddit.com/r/videos/ but you need atleast 20 comments karma.
On the other hand there are:
https://www.reddit.com/r/YouTubeGamers/
https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingvids/
https://www.reddit.com/r/LetsPlayVideos/
etc.
Just ask google: reddit share your video

I always post to reddit, never got any trouble, most of my big videos got many likes on reddit. Maybe it means that you can still improve a lot on your videos? Try to find what can be better and work on it. Good luck!

Reddit can work well i personally am too scared to use it in case i get a lot of hate haha! I did use to use the newtuber subreddit but it never got me views so i stopped, google plus, twitter, here and another youtube forum seem to work the best for me right now according to my discovery tabs
