I think that it is more important to make videos that you want to make. Making videos that others want to see is not a bad thing but working on something that you don't find fun will make it really hard to complete. Sometimes fans do like when content creators change things up every now and then to keep their content from getting stale. I've seen people complain about repetition in comments. It's usually pretty divided. A lot of people (including myself) loves Undertale so I wouldn't be surprised if its well received. I've seen your videos on youtube and I love your animations btw. I just started animating so I haven't experienced this first hand yet but I can sympathize. I think its okay to take the leap of faith because you never know if people will like the new video better.
 
I go in the direction that I think is right for my channel. There is no point in having my channel if I'm not happy and content with the things I'm working on.
