I personally use Windows movie maker, but if my laptop could run it I'd use adobe premiere pro

its down to personal preference though, i have a friend and she only likes to use movie maker.

That is very true

if you want to make a basic video then movie maker is the way to go. IF you want more advanced stuff like making timelapses etc and awesome effects then vegas i think.

I use Wondershare Filmora. I am thinking about going to Vegas Pro at some point soon from the reviews I have read about it. I just really like the simplicity of Filmora.
