Whats the story behind your channel name?

I was playing ps3 wile thinking of a name and i looked at my controler ant tought sixaxis and the I GOT IT AXIS so yeah thats how

Well a mongrel is a mixed breed, and I'm a mixed raced person, and I always liked the word, used it to cuss out a few people from time to time, but then I felt it was too plain, went for Sir Mongrel, then thought of how medieval movies always say "me lord..." and I thought LORD MONGREL! So here I am typing this as LordMongrel :D

I have a beard and I looked up animals with beard and a picture of a bear came up first, so I was bear with a beard on my steam then I changed that to something else and then BearMan just kinda came to me

Our channel is all about having fun with our daughter, Sarah. It also makes sense in that we hope that those who watch also have fun with Sarah. We thought that aside from being descriptive, it might help people identify with a real person and not an impersonal channel name. Only snag is that some of our videos don't include her so not exactly Fun with Sarah all the time... more like Fun with Sarah mostly, Mommy and/or (insert pet name here) and very rarely Dad.

The name UrbanGraduates stemmed from the persona of all people involved with my channel. We are all in college, or close to starting. We're wacky, and come from the urban parts of where we live. We aren't professional either, and so we give off that cool and awkward vibe to our intended audience!

We want to be a channel you go to when you're avoiding homework, finals, or washing the dishes.

And you have to admit, it's pretty cool. :)

In my opinion it is best to come up with a name that can be easy to remember. You probably only want a couple syllables at most. It may also not be the best to incorporate numbers in some scenarios because it makes it harder for people to remember your channel name. I got my name by just thinking of random funny names. I also suggest coming up with a name that displays the personal message or personality that you are showcasing to your audience. For example with my channel, I want to do vlogs and skits in the future. So I thought of certain titles I could use with the skit ideas I had come up with. 1. Cooking Made Theezy 2. Building Made Theezy, etc. I hope this helps!

That's a really cool story of how you created your channel name! The way I came up with my channel is from the nickname my friends and family made up! :D[DOUBLEPOST=1458970611,1458970542][/DOUBLEPOST]
Well how I got my name "KoalaKingdom" was because I wanted koala in my name and something at the end. Sadly my other choices were already taken. Then KoalaKingdom happened out of no where I had kingdom. I thought it was a good idea because my channel would be a kingdom, in which Koalas can roam xD

That is AWESOME! I LOVE your username! :D

So Kleineganz is my personal online "brand," so I use it across all my social media accounts, which is also why I used it for my YouTube channel. As for where "Kleineganz" comes from ... long story short it's supposed to be German for "little goose" (hence the duck/goose avatar). However, if you are fluent in German you will immediately go "hey, that's wrong!" because it's misspelled (it should be Kleinegans, or more accurately kleine Gans, if it is to mean "little goose"). "Ganz" is a completely different word and "Kleineganz" in German is kind of meaningless nonsense that roughly translates into "little whole."

The misspelling is sort of deliberate for 2 reasons:
  1. I thought Kleineganz looked cooler than Kleinegans
  2. When I first thought of the name back in my Friendster days, "Kleinegans" was already taken so I had to change the spelling.
Anywhere there you have the long, convoluted story of my channel name!
