What to upgrade for better performance?

I Love YTtalk
If I want better performance for video editing(NO GAMING WHATSOEVER) which of the following would be more beneficial to upgrade? (I tried google-ing this but I got so many mixed answers)

-RAM (from 4GB to 8GB)
-CPU (From Dual Core to a Quad Core)
-VIDEO CARD (6450 to 6770)

Right now, I can only choose one. Which would be the most beneficial for video editing because right now I get occasional lag and "not responding" messages and it gets annoying.

What's the speed of the 2 CPUs? In GHz. CPU might be a better choice, as for the most part rendering mostly uses your CPU.

I think the RAM. I am hopefully going to be buying some RAM with my birthday money if I get enough :)
 
hmm, i'm not really sure why you would be getting not responding messages while editing, your specs are miles better than mine xD but with a 64 bit OS your comp can handle up to 8gb of RAM so if you have the money for it may as well max it out :p
