What makes you keep going?

Having some of my videos rank which in turn led to new subs everyday definitely motivated me. It takes a lot of work in the beginning for very little reward. Research everything you can about popular youtubers you like and how they got there start. It's not easy and very discouraging sometimes for the amount of work it takes, but pumping out consistent quality content will eventually catch on.
 
For me it's just because I love the youtube platform, it's a love/hate relationship and many times I've thought to myself "what's the point" but you have to keep going!

I think everything boils down to perseverance and dedication to your channel. Every view, for me, counts and I get really excited whenever I see that the views for one video is going up. You're right. It will take time but with consistent quality content, anyone can grow
 
My true feeling is that if you have to ask yourself the question WHY AM I DOING THIS?...it's time to do something different. I understand we all do it for different reasons but so many people I've come across are doing for the wrong reasons and wonder why it goes pear shaped a few months in.

I don't think I will ever give it up unless my life demands it. It's the best hobby in the world... and I still dream of it becoming more significant than that.
