What makes you keep going?

The main reason is that I really have fun playing video games, so why not record it =P I'm always playing those rage enducing or just challenging games (smash is one of those) but I just really enjoy making YouTube videos and even after having over 900 videos with only 195 subscribers (which is honestly just crazy XD) I love doing it so I guess I'll just keep going until I don't wanna do it anymore

Hmmm.... Honestly I do it because I enjoy it and I really like making thumbnails and editing. It's good practice for my creative skills.

I also have a lot of YouTube friends, so whenever I'm feeling down they usually reassure me, and then I remember why I started my channel in the first place

It honestly always really helps me to think about as long as I'm getting like 3 views each video, you know at least SOMEONE is watching. And those people, even if it's only a couple of them, are awesome! :D
I know what you mean! I only have a few subscribers and my videos only have a few views but I honestly feel so happy that people are even watching :)[DOUBLEPOST=1470509800,1470509707][/DOUBLEPOST]
I like to learn new things, I like to create something and I love challenges. My goal and challenge is to be very succesful at youtube, having at least a million views each day and that diamond youtube button on my wall
"If you keep at it, you'll reach your goals." That's what I always remember whenever I need a little bit of motivation on my channel :)[DOUBLEPOST=1470510035][/DOUBLEPOST]

You and I have the same reason for starting a gaming channel xD! At first, I just wanna get my name out there but as the weeks past, I fell in love with YouTube and the process of making videos. 195 subs! That's so awesome!

Really? Thanks, I also try to make the thumbnails look really cool. I have a lot of fun making thumbnails. I guess I just lost track of how many videos I was making at a time, even though I don't just upload them all at once and.i have a schedule my video count has gotten up there, I guess I'll be up there one day =P

I think part of what keeps me going is wanting to prove myself right, but also the fact that I know I'm building actual skills (video editing, public speaking, etc). And it forces me to do things that are good for me!!

I am hoping that YouTube will help me with public speaking 'coz I get super nervous during those activities. I agree that it helps in building skills in editing videos and using photoshop and stuff. That's great! It forces me to actually be more productive in everything I do. I'm really glad I started a channel :)

I keep a folder with all the nice comments i get online, whenever i feel down or demotivated i just look in it

From my point of view Youtube is similar to playing a game. There is a set of rules and you can choose to make any moves within these rules. The goal of the game is to collect as many points (in terms of Views/Subscribers) as possible.

I just love to play this YT-Gane :-)

That's an interesting perception of YouTube. I suppose we'll all be playing this game until we win :)
