I have two separate YouTube channels that I switch between depending on what I'm doing. Since YouTube recommends videos based on what you've watched before on that channel it allows me to get particular suggestions depending on what I'm doing at the time.
If I need to be productive, then I stick to my Tipharot channel - because on that channel I typically only watch productive content. What do I mean by productive content? Well content that'll help me improve in some way. Guides, tutorials, self-improvement videos, motivational videos etc on a range of subjects: From business, to the gym, to healthy living, to spiritual subjects like meditation etc. Basically, the same kind of content as I make on my own channel.
If on the other hand I'm just relaxing and taking a bit of a break from everything, I switch to my other channel. On there I just watch entertaining things. Anything from game Let's Plays, to full episodes of comedy shows, to you laugh you lose challenges.. pretty much anything and everything mindlessly entertaining I'll watch on there.
I find it really useful to separate the two though. When I am relaxing I can get caught up watching the most mindless and silly stuff for hours on end. So it's a good job that I only get those suggestions when I'm on that particular channel - otherwise I'd never be productive. ;p
