What is THE BEST vlogging camera?

I’m considering getting either the Canon m50 or the Canon G7X Mark ii.

Here’s what I’m thinking, the G7X can fit in my pocket, so I wouldn’t have to bring a camera bag wherever I go and I could do more impromptu vlogs, but there’s a fixed lens, so I can’t really “grow” with it, and it doesn’t have an external mic input.

With the m50 I can change lenses, so if I want a different shot or angle I’m able to get another lens to do so, there’s also input for an external mic, but it seems too big to fit in a pocket, so I’d have to plan my vlogs out beforehand.

I do use a Lav mic so the external mic isn’t THAT much of a selling point for me at the moment but it could be later on.

Do you have any recommendations for other vlogging cameras?

You'll want portability, and good low-light performance. When your shooting on the go it can be hard to find decent lighting to shoot in. Out of those two I would go with the G7, the portability is great and the low-light is acceptable. For the money however, you could defiantly get a Sony RX100, a camera that repeatably comes up when talking about vlogging cameras.
