What is RPM, and what is good RPM?

Well, Most people will say that on average it´s 1 dollar per 1000 views, it depends on the month i guess, which is more on december and less in january
 
It really does vary. Expect $1/1000 views, be grateful if it goes over that and if its lower than that, blame your content or blame the country where most of your viewers came from or the time of year haha~

So yea, it varies a lot that even the average is not accurate. I remember when I was just starting, getting $0.20/1000 views seemed impossible... But then my audience retention at the time was low as well...
 
We can say that an average RPM sits between $0.5 to $1.5. RPM is a much more trustworthy figure but harder to understand and assimilate. CPM is just the standard and what people learn faster, but it does not give the overal picture.
