What has YouTube done for you?

It definitely got me to be much more creative, and think about more and more ideas I can execute on video. Besides that, it hasn't really done much. I'm still super shy, and I haven't gained any money from it. It forced me to get more creative.
I expect my channel to make me a bit more creative as well. There are a ton of places providing similar content so I gotta do something to keep people coming to me.

It's a mutual thing I think, you get out from what you put into it. My life hasn't radically changed but it has really helped me become more confident, my family were shocked when they seen me on there given how shy I was, I still am shy but not nearly as bad as I once was. I have learned so much about YouTube too, starting YTtalk is definitely one of the best things I have done in recent years.
What made you create YTtalk? How long has it even been around? I'd like to build a website someday, where did you learn to do it?

Friends. I have met a lot of people just by doing YouTube videos and that includes everyone here on the YTTalk forums :)

YouTube has made me better at creating videos. I have purchased some great video recording equipment thanks to suggestions I have gotten on here. I have also learned a ton about Pokemon's oddities. I have gotten so much better at stating my opinion in a way that doesn't offend people because of my top 10 videos. My YouTube experience has been a great ride, and I hope to continue on this journey for a long time.

It's definitely changed my views on EVERYTHING. Before I started spamming videos onto the youtubes, I was a really pessimistic dude. I was easily hurt and I got these moments where I wouldn't want to do anything but just go home and play games. I also was really socially awkward. But then I started to post on youtube, and I found my passion. It wasn't science, or math, or something school related, but it was this.
SO youtube's basically helped me get over being sensitive as f**k (I don't even know how, I just really enjoyed it and I soon forgot about the crappy stuff) made me pretty optimistic, and filming videos with my crazy side has affected my social life too, as I can now speak more comfortably with people (Most of the time...)
So yeah....Thanks youtube. Even though I hate google plus from the bottom of my heart lol :D
