What do all BIG channels have in common?

How do you become a youtuber that everyone has heard of?
I thought this could be a place to discuss things that every (or a lot) of youtubers who are hugely known have in common, and maybe discover all the secrets!

For example,
Most known youtubers have at least decent quality setup - clear microphone, decent camera quality.

Most known youtubers who are gamers have consistent commentary for their game footage. Theyre funny or have something to say that is interesting.

Pretty sure they all reacted to Jacob Sartorius' Sweatshirt music video :^)

I've only seen a few of them but I bet everyone has the exact same "omg are we not gonna talk about how that sweatshirt just came to life" comment lol

Despite some years ago was a bit easier to gather visibility i think that the work for becoming a known youtuber is long and hard, especially nowadays where the minimum quality threshold increased a lot. First of all there must be the technical aspect ( video/audio quality clear and HD); then I think a good channel banner and logo because branding is important.
After that there is the personality (I'll talk about gaming examples) because that is the thing that makes a channel running, more than the game choices.
Then there is also the human aspect: I think that a real good youtuber cares about his community, more than anything else!
Maybe there is more but these are my opinions.

with gaming ive noticed a large ammount of them are very VERY loud. I like markiplier, jackscepticeye and others, but i can't binge watch or ill get a headache.
with vlogs, they have fantastic quality, lovely houses, and lots of fast paced editing.
with music they tend to be vevo channels, or parody channels with funny music videos.

i actually have no idea what video you're referring to!
they do all get sponsored by the same brands though, dont they? or they do all the same challenges..
