That's subjective though, if you're trying to build a community then comments are probably worth more.
I touched on this in my stripped down challenge. For me comments are the most important. I want to build a community and therefore engagement and interaction are what give me the best feedback.
I would honestly rather have a video with 10 comments (each comment being a mini discussion) on a 50 -100 view video than 10k views and no comments.
The problem with that is I know people can love or really enjoy your videos and not comment anything. For example i've received messages on Facebook randomly from friends I never knew watched my videos saying they love them or were inspired and have decided to do blah because of something I said. So imagine all of the people that you don't even know.
With this is mind I try to leave a valuable or funny reflection on videos I watch now to help others engagement and it also helps with your presence in the YouTube world.
