Uploading Old Games

I have a few friends thats going to attempt to upload old games. Honestly, it COULD work if your personality and stuff is good but you'll probably grow slowly. If you make your content interesting and different than others who do those type of games you'll outshine them.
 
I'd do an SEO search first. If the first 100 videos all have 100k+ views it might not be worth it, other than for fun. It might be better if you do it as
Anniversary on the 5th or 10th year and can crack the search
 
Definitely worth it, especially if you know where the fans of those old games tend to hang out. I upload a lot of old-school Thief videos, which are among the most viewed of my videos on average. Just make sure to do your research on the Monetization policies behind those old games. Some old games are acquired by Ubisoft, Square Enix, and others, so be sure to read up on their stances towards that sort of thing.
 
If you think you can make a great video or series out of an older game then I would say go for it. Even if it doesn't get as many hits as a newer title, it's still just more great content for your channel. Maybe if you decide to make a video on a new game those viewers might stumble upon some of your other playlists and love them! You never know.

people often look at these old games as legends, so I suppose people would enjoy watching them
