To Upload or Not To Upload?

As someone who also just started and has always hated my voice when I record, I find this piece of advice to be very helpful: You are and always will be your harshest critic. I would suggest uploading at least one video that you have a problem with and seeing what people say about it is a good way of judging how well it was produced. However, if you have videos that you feel are just not up to standards that you know you can meet, then I would say to redo them.

I've moved this to the Strategies and Technique Advise forum. ^^

I've made countless videos where there was something wrong with the audio and ended up needing to remake them. It's usually a lot easier filming something the second time around, and everything flows more naturally. Each time, the video has turned out better than it originally was, so I think redoing things can be a good thing. =)

Thank you for the advice! I will remember this in the future as well![DOUBLEPOST=1468553952,1468549096][/DOUBLEPOST]

Thank you for telling me what you think! I may take your advice and upload just one to see what people who watch it think about it!

if it really bothers you, don't upload it. I've had a few videos that I wouldn't say didn't try but being my worst critic, you may see things that others do not. that's good in a way but if you're too hard on yourself, it will be an endless cycle. get your feet wet, see how people respond and continue to improve.

That is a good life lesson! I'll take it to heart and remember to be a little easier on myself.

Upload once a week like I am and don't give people the reason to upload because of too much content.

I would only upload videos that you are proud of. If you have serious doubts then redoing the videos is probably a good thing. Depending on what games you played, you can always consider merging the videos and cutting out the dead space to see if that results in a video that has the quality that you are looking for.

Good luck :)
