The ultimate Reddit guide.

Reddit is inundated by people spamming their own stuff all the time. People who take part in the comments, post other peoples funny and interesting stuff and only occasionally post their own content do just fine. If all you do is post your own stuff, the hivemind will string you up.

Yeah, this does not compute. A bunch of lazy untalented useless people string up folks who create. Sounds like the 99% argument all over again.

Thank you for this! I've been wanting someone with experience to put together a Reddit guide forever. You are truly invaluable to this community.[DOUBLEPOST=1379327969,1379325734][/DOUBLEPOST]
Chances are Reddit just isn't really worth the trouble. I mean, sure, you might get a 1000 views, but for what effort? Heck, even 5000 might not be worth the effort (when looking at other things that would yield better results for your time investment).

LOL... I posted a friends video on Reddit, it got upvoted, and got 150,000 views in 16 hours without even hitting the front page. There are Youtubers such as Uberdanger who have been made on Reddit.

Thank you sir, I would also like to warn people that reddit users are very criticle and can borderline on bulling at times in regards to the feedback. It all depends on the types of reddit. You see negative nasty feedback alot from call of duty reddits and other fps concole reddits. So be prepared for some thorns amongst the roses.

Hi @uberdanger thought I would do a reply to try and get the post back up for you.
Also I have a question, where should I post minecraft videos/garrys mod etc? Or should I find a game what isn't as popular as minecraft as the subreddit community there is pretty bad, although I did get nearly 1000 views from one video on there.

You can't really "post" them anywhere, I suggest hoping to go semiviral with thoose type of videos.
