The 'I Got Partnered with RPM' Thread

I didn't say they didnt get it checked by a lawyer. Doesn't automatically make it a binding contract. I have signed plenty contracts in my time. I'm aware of how they work. I don't need to read up on it
Well... Can you provide a source which says that it's true? I'm just curious because I'm basically in your situation :P Applied but got unsure if I really want to anymore after what happened with the requirement being lowered to 0 views.

^It`s not true...
Legal - Electronic signatures are recognized as legally binding in the majority of countries around the world.
definition of an electronic signature is “… an electronic sound, symbol, or process attached to or logically associated with a record … adopted by a person with the intent to sign the record

You don't understand what I'm saying. I was applying to be considered. You don't sign a binding contract consisted terms of conditions before even being accepted[DOUBLEPOST=1365294697,1365294627][/DOUBLEPOST]Won't hold up is my point
Yeah that's what confuses me, the e-mail I got even said that they would send me an INVITATION link... And what if they denied me now? They basically in that case had me sign a contract where they promised to do a whole lot of things for me...

Yes you do!!!
The application process changed, you now sign the contract as part of the application process and if you don`t have copyright they`ll co-sign it and send you the email to link your account to their CMS.[DOUBLEPOST=1365294815,1365294764][/DOUBLEPOST]

They have to co-sign the contract, they have the right to not sign it in which case the contract would be terminated.

And legally a contract with a term more than one year HAS to be done in writing.
Nope...
Go ask Machinima, Viso (and their aggregators), Fullscreen, Maker... all 1+ year contracts

All multi-million dollar companies, with lots of legal power.
Do you really think they`re operating illegally?[DOUBLEPOST=1365294961,1365294904][/DOUBLEPOST]
Not legal if the term is more than one year and not done in writing.
Stop acting like a little kid. "I didn`t do because I don`t want to have done it" goes to hide in a corner... < that`s you..
