The 'I Got Partnered with RPM' Thread

Hm, I have been thinking and... Since I got my non crappy contract and RPM is still essentially still linked with TGS which I want to get in to one day... My situation is not that bad. I will require more time than a year to even get to a level where I can partner with any of the larger networks so 1 year contract isn't bad. The network's support and all that won't be functioning properly because of spam partnerships but... I wasn't expecting to get much help in the first place... I just want the thumbnails and the copyright umbrella so that I won't have to deal with companies copyright claiming on my videos.

And I mean, this cannot keep going. Not only is RPM's reputation being dragged down into the soil but I don't think TGS and Makers will be unaffected from this change either. So we will see what the future holds both for me and everyone else. But man, I'm really unhappy with what RPM has done...

Honestly, you are not in as good a position as you could be, but you still are in a good position, and I don't think maker will be happy with RPM, but that might benefit you in some way, as you are a legit partner.

Haha we'll see about it all though! Who knows, I haven't been accepted yet so they might just send me that new contract all of a sudden and be like ''sign please''. One thing is for sure, if that happens... That is where I turn around and escape them.

Well, according to actual current partners, they don't do a lot that they promised.
 
I have to say the situation could be a lot worse. Maker Studios is going to notice this, and they don't want THEIR reputation going to s**t. So, the chances are high that Maker is going to shut down RPM. Sure, Hundreds of partners will be lost. But these peoples channels will be saved, and they can still go on to a better network.
