The 'I Got Partnered with RPM' Thread

So it takes 6-10 business days to get the email with the tax forms and such? I guess I'm kinda anxious... and also kinda paranoid I didn't sent the acceptance email right the first time... lol

You did not send the acceptance email right the first time? What? Ahh I don't know how Maker/RPM work now. When I applied, I had to get an actual contract by e-mail. If you applied straight through the RPM website, and it said you were accepted, a contract would have popped up onto the screen and you would have said "You agree to these terms" right? Is that what you did?

Just out of curiousity what kind of channel is the one you have with RPM and what kind is your main channel?
Both gaming but my second (the one that is partnred with rpm and my) I do the occasional vlog and that.[DOUBLEPOST=1366311634,1366311400][/DOUBLEPOST]
Oh woah. And no, SocialBlade is a referral program but on the socialblade website it lists partners who applied to RPM through the SocialBlade website as SocialBlade partners. :O

And are you even allowed to do that? I am pretty sure it says in the contract that any channel you create after signing the contract- the network has the right to claim it for partnership, or not claim it. (And you may not be able to join another network on a different channel if you are still in a partnership.) It's somewhere in the contract for RPM. :p
You are right in some areas but in others incredibly wrong but I will let you figure that out ;) and it is my second channel that is partnered with rpm not my main one and my main channel was already partnered before I signed the contract to partner with rpm and yes it does say in the contract I should know I read it 2-3 times but I cant correct you on that as you are both right (only a little bit though) and wrong (mostly) as it would be un-wise to talk about contract details outside of the network so to speak.

I don't know. lol I'm just paranoid. Yeah, after you agree to the terms, you get a letter, you accept it, then you get another one that tells you to check your site if it's with RPM and if it, you send them another email that says accepted 'your site name'. I think this is where it takes a while to get a reply, but yeah, I hope I sent it correctly the first time.

If you are going to accuse someone of something being "wrong," actually tell them what is wrong otherwise it makes no sense. SocialBlade is a referral program, not a network.

Yes, they have the right to take your other channels made after you have signed that contract, into their own network, and they have the right to turn it down. That is a fact. I can show you the exact lines if you message me. Yes, it's not good to talk about contract details like this, especially on the forums. All of what I have said are facts-which I have gone over with support from networks as well. So if something is wrong, feel free to correct me. Or, if you don't know what you are saying, don't accuse me of saying something false. :p

Hey guys, I got accepted, signed and have had the contract counter signed. Today they sent me an email saying something about CMS Onboarding and I would receive an email in a few days to say if I've got in. If I do (hope I do!) then I get an invite. Is CMS Onboarding normal and is it just a part of the process?[DOUBLEPOST=1366357146,1366357130][/DOUBLEPOST]Hey guys, I got accepted, signed and have had the contract counter signed. I am not all what I have said is within reason and to prove you wrong I would have to talk about certain things that would be wise on a forum so don't jump the gun and don't be smug that is disrespectful and they are in part a network I have researched them quite a bit and know people with them they are in laymen's terms a sun-network/division under rpm;).

Haha; you are the one that immediately said I was wrong about what I said. To prove you wrong, I do not have to talk about anything from the contract because you should have already read it.

1. When you make a new channel after partnering with RPM (I know this for sure), they have the right to take that channel under them, or deny it partnership. That is a fact and I can show you that even if you want to private message me.

2. SocialBlade is in no way a network at all. They do not have any CMS, and you do not get any support for partners I believe. It's funny cause you are still saying SocialBlade is a sub-network when RPM have said themselves that SocialBlade is a referral program. When you sign through SocialBlade, you are signing straight to RPM-but SocialBlade makes money for referring you. Period. This I know is a fact. I know it can be confusing because SocialBlade tries to make it like their own partner program-but they are only a referral program for RPM. They work with RPM. They promote themselves, and in-turn get a lot of money for bringing people into the Maker/RPM networks. I have talked to people who are way more knowledgeable about networks than you and I, and actually work in that environment and I have been told the same thing.

If you really want to argue your point, message me. :) I can show you the proof and stuff.

Thanks, no harsh feelings.
