I say good. Keep the pretenders away and let those who are in it to win it really earn it. It will feel much better when achieved.
I thought the same thing. That’s possible. If this ceiling plays out well maybe not. If all the pretenders just by views and subs and find work arounds I see it happening. Probably 5000 first but then 10 and 100k[DOUBLEPOST=1516199824,1516199099][/DOUBLEPOST]It just popped into my head but maybe this is to cut down on sister channels as well. Many big personalities that get into trouble have 2 or more channels going and once disgraced can just move to the other one. Like daddy o and daddy o games (sic??) 1000 subs would be easy but few could get the 4000 hours logged in a day or week. Though yeah, some could.I somewhat agree. I had to put in 2 years to get to the levels they are talking about. Now I far surpassed them. But my fear is that they will up the ante even further down the line. Say 10K subscribers and 25,000 hours. I hit the hour mark now, but 10K subscribers? Nope. I would be out of the game. And so... would you. And I have a gut feeling that is exactly what is going to happen.
If you're only in it for the money then that's your problem. You have to enjoy what you're doing or it's just another job.
Remember when there was no advertising on YT ? People did it for enjoyment and as a community service.
Nothing has really changed for most channels in that respect, but some people have tried to make it a job/income source, with everything that entails.
Income is a nice form of encouragement to try harder, but if it all stopped tomorrow I'm sure most channels would keep going.
