Copyright claim on copyrighted material that he is using... I don't think it quite works that way. If his content was original (aka, did not use copyrighted characters) I think he would have a case, but as it stands? Better not rock the boat.
 
The fact that he's putting a link back to your original video is pretty worthless and he's probably only doing that hoping you won't give him a strike. I mean, anyone watching the dubbed version is doing so because they don't speak English so they're not going to come to your channel and watch the exact same animation again in a language they don't understand. So he's not driving any traffic back to you IMHO.

I'm using my own drawings (not official art) of characters to make fun (i.e parody) of the game they are in. I would have thought that's as fair use as you can get with regards to parody. even the music and sound effects are completely written for the short and in no way resemble the in game music[DOUBLEPOST=1454684130,1454683953][/DOUBLEPOST]

ive checked the traffic sources and I'm getting 1.2% traffic source from it lol. makes sense from what you said, though I do feel like youtube should implement some way of associating dubs with your channel without having to make a new channel, or have them clutter your regular channel. maybe they can only be visible to those with their language settings put to certain countries? Im sure something like that would probably be possible with the tech youtube already uses to differentiate the viewers

This means you need to start translating your work. In the meantime, this guy is doing you a favor by translating your videos for free. Make a claim and monetize his video/s

Contact him, work with him. You won't have the Spanish speaking people anyway, don't be a FineBros
