Swearing in Videos. Yay or Nay?

Swearing is like sugar: a little bit (with measure) can be great, but a lot can end up giving you diabetes. So if swearing is something you do, then go for it, swear a little bit. But control yourself because when every single sentence has three swear words in it it becomes annoying real fast. :)

Haha :D I know how you feel. That's why I started this thread. I swear a bit sometimes, but I'm just not sure if I should do it in my new vids. After all, I want to make something that most people can watch at work, next to their family, at school, etc.

I try to go on the basis that the 12 year old watching my video won't have Mom walk in the room and say "Johnny, turn that off, it's vulgar!"
 
I think it all depends on your audience that you want to reach. If you wanted to cater to kids don't swear. But if you want to cater to a more mature audience than you swear like a sailor. But I recommend to have a mix because the more people that watch your channel the more views you get.

This is a great analogy :D I think swearing is absolutely necessary sometimes to drive a point home (like you can't have a tasty cookie without a bit of sugar) but do it too much and it just loses it's meaning.
 
I say, be yourself if youre someone who doesnt tend to use profanity, don't force it to appeal, me I know I sounds stupid cursing, so i try to stay away,

So, be yourself..and know who your audience is and if they should be hearing you curse or not
