Subscription Exhaustion?

I got around 5 people I watch on a daily basis, not having trouble, I watch what I didn't watch for the weekend.

Thanks, everyone! It's definitely the completist in me...especially for those other fellow small channels who are appreciative of the comments and views, I feel a bit more responsibility than I probably should for keeping up with everyone. Like everything else in my life, I tend to overcommit to this sort of thing!

Not enough hours in the day to watch everyone i subscribe to lol, im sure whoever you subscribe to understand you cant watch EVERY video - think the just appreciate the sub! :)

I focus on those I am actively helping and don't fret over the bigger ones. They won't miss my view as much!

I will often binge catchup when on a commute though!

I've gotten this feeling a couple of times. I just have to be honest with myself and decide who I simply can afford not to watch anymore without feeling too bad.

I wish there was a way to filter out subscriptions so that I could put them in groups
There used to be, actually. YouTube got rid of it about a year or 2 ago, though. I never understood why, but I do remember I could go through all my subscriptions to pick a channel and it would end up in the special subscription box I made. It was so useful, never understood why YouTube would delete such a great feature like that. I wish I had some sort of proof to back it up but it was on my old deleted YT account. It was essentially a special subscription box that fitted just under "subscriptions". It allowed you to name it and add/remove channels. I wish they added it back in, it was very useful.

Edit: found some proof, actually. Google "YouTube subscription grouping"

I am subbed to 374 channels.
I can't help it though, not only have I had this account for nearly a decade, theres just so much good content out there!

For those that upload a lot i never watch everything. things like Gamegrumps for instance. I really enjoy their content, but they upload often enough for me to just follow one of their daily series' at a time.

also since my accounts pretty old a lot of these subscriptions are probably dead channels.

But i get what you mean, especially what @darkstarmedia said about supporting smaller channels. It's just hard to keep up.
hey do they still do that "get updates for when this channel uploads" thing?
