Starting again? Yey or Ney?

I Love YTtalk
So.. I recently got a new camera,
NEW, NOW IN HD QUALITY!
Well, kind of, 1080p quality apparently (it's trying)

anyway, someone suggested that I start a new channel.. My subscription count has ground to a full stop, I gained 100 subs in the same amount of time as I've gained like.. 20 in the past few months.. so, I don't know whats going on but it aint good!
I'm getting a lot less views recently, and as much as it doesn't give me any reason to quit (i'm not a weak soul, I will go on!) it does kind of make me wonder if I did something wrong, or if my subscribers are just dead and gone already, like uesless numbers now!

So someone suggested, like I said, to start a new channel, maybe a fresh start would do some good.. As in, new subscribers, new start, more active followng I guess? I've been on this channel for over 2 years now (2 and a half?) and it feels kind of.. sad and lonely thinking about leaving all of those videos behind, plus, I'll loose the like TWO people that actually watch my videos and comment regularly.. (granted, those are also ther youtubers, but that counts right?)

Anyway, What are your thoughts on this
I'm sorry about the wall of text

TL;DR
Should I start a new channel? just got a new camera, better quality overall, My following is dead, not getting any more subs, what do

I suggest not starting a new channel :) Not matter what you're going to have to work hard to gain subs, might as well continue with the ones you have, heck some of your subscribers will come back, and you can continue from where you left off! Probably just having a slow few months, I had them, but I just got over it and now my channel is growing fast once again!

Yeah I guess so, I started out with no subscribers and it took me 2 years to get to 100, Don't feel like doing that all over again! lmao (although, I'm sure my better quality would help that.. Guess we'll neverrr knowww)

I think it would be a good idea to keep your channel. After all, even though those subs aren't active you still have worked hard to get them, and once more and more people start to notice you are uploading regularly again they will slowly trickle back in :P I don't think it's worth it to be restarting your entire channel :)

I never stopped uploading :)!
But yeah, Alright, maybe my better quality would make people want to return.

Oh haha sorry, that's just why a lot of people start getting inactive subscribers is when they go inactive. Assumptions are bad lol

Then like @NcrRangerGaming said, you are probably just having a slow few months. It'll pick up again soon :)

Fair enough;p I guess I just suck huehue
I think it might be because people have gone back to school or college? I don't know

I mean unless its going to be something completely different i really don't think starting a new channel is the greatest of ideas. Just work on your videos make them as great as you can and go from there

Don't start over. I learned it the hard way after purging everything for a total of nine times. Don't be like me. I was almost reaching 1000 subscribers until I ruined everything. Don't start over. Now I'm stuck at 83 subscribers and I can only deal with it for now.
