Someone explain this comment for me

Agreed. Sometimes people pick on teeny, tiny channels just to be a d**k and it isn't due to jealousy. It's because there is no fanbase to defend the channel owner.[DOUBLEPOST=1375282224,1375282187][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yeah re word it a bit in the right context and he is literally agreeing with my points, but it's a shame he embarrassed himself with how it's worded :giggle:
Yup thats a also a reason

But look at it in the context that he's talking about my video. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever; my video supported men and spoke of how mistreated men are in divorce law. His comment makes it sound like I'm throwing my gender in his face and chuckling about how privileged we are :/
If that is what your video was talking about, then it sounds like this guy is just agreeing with you. When he says that you could have 'summed it up' with the saying yay feminism and throw up your middle finger, then maybe he is just trying to saying he agrees with you view, but he is just giving his own reasoning behind the view. It doesn't sound like he is necessarily disagreeing with you.

MFW I read that comment

Suddenly I feel like... why are we discussing the comment. You could just respond "Your comment makes no sense to me sir, elaborate please" Ultimately comments sections are little conversations about said video. Perhaps the man didn't watch, perhaps he did and is explaining himself terribly, why are we discussing it... maybe he should just, explain... it's like pulling out a random interjection for private/public scrutiny... we could just say "hey man, your comment makes the amount of sense to me that is no sense at all. Zero."

I dunno.... I've done this too this is me observing but just... why do we treat the comment section with so much reverence... it's a conversation with strangers about your video. and with some non strangers, and even some fans.

To explain deeper. Is it just me, or do we puff up the significance of comments. These are strangers over the internet. It's not that that means their opinions don't mean anything, it's that it means you have very little way of gauging how much the opinions mean. People lie, people fake, people fangirl/boy, people troll, people bully, people white knight, there are people you respect, people you don't, in the world of text, you don't know anything. Are they foreign, are they local are they sane are they crazy are they nice are they mean we have no idea. They are just text, commenting on the video. It helps you on a level and to a degree, but these words ultimately are from strangers, and you have no idea if these strangers have a perspective you respect. Yet for me personally, I seem to treat these words with alot of importance. Why do I do that? Interesting....

It looks like I'm a bit late to judge, but it sounds like he read the title and got angry. I wouldn't be surprised if you got a similar comment on your patriarchy one. Your titles are tad bit misleading :D

Yeah, he clearly didn't watch the video.

If he did, he was seething with so much rage that he forgot to pay attention to the words coming out of your mouth.
