Other So you wanna be a game editor...

Hey, guys.

Does anybody know where a person could advertise their services as an editor for YouTube videos? I think that might be what I want to do. If any of you watch Game Grumps, I think I want to be Barry or Kevin; someone who does the editing, but is also part of the show, preferably for a comedy/gaming channel. How would one go about getting a job like that? Should I just go to meet-ups and pass out business cards? Mind you, I'm still learning how to edit, but like I said, I think that night be the kind of thing I want to do, once I'm ready to enter the job market. Any ideas, anyone?

I would guess positions like that are generally friends that come together or collaborations through sites like this. You could always attempt to offer your services to youtubers you meet here or smaller channels and work up a reputation. Eventually you might find what your looking for.
