So I started doing subs4subs... :(

Until soon realising that they are basically nothing and all they do is give you a fake sense of hope or motivation. It motivated me for some time, true enough, but I just.. Understood while roaming these forums how bad it is for you and your channel. I have about 325 subs now? And around 30-40 are real subscribers whereas the rest are subs4subs people. I didn't spam on others' video though, if you guys are thinking that. There are some videos on YouTube which are there to help people grow? People do subs4subs on the comment section of those videos all the time, and yeah, I just got bundled up in it.

So right now, I'm looking to improve my content and gain actual viewers and people who would like to watch me! Since I still haven't given up on my dream to become the top gaming YouTuber of our country, and I'll continue to pursue it! I hope to have some help from you people! :)

P.S. I really hope you understand where I was coming from, I was new to the YouTube scenario and started doing subs4subs without realising it's bad for your channel, and I hope people understand that and don't hate on me. :(

You're gonna have to keep posting. The more you post, the more YouTube recognizes your channel authority in a few months time. If you think a few months is ridiculous you can also post your videos across other Social Media platforms. I recommend reddit because after awhile you'll build a following from people who like similar topics as you.

fair enough mate, everyone makes mistakes. the fact you realised your mistake and now are going to concentrate on improving your content is great. good luck
Thank you! Any tips for me perhaps? :D[DOUBLEPOST=1468792963,1468792938][/DOUBLEPOST]
we all make mistakes some worse then others but your trying to right your mistake and that's all that matters.
Yeah... Thank you! :)[DOUBLEPOST=1468793106][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yeah, I generally do post reguarly, I currently took a break for 2 days (which I mentioned in my last video) since it got slightly hectic for me and I'll go back to uploading from tomorrow onwards. :D

I've seen reddit around a lot tbh, but I don't know where to get started there. :(

Yeah reddit's a little complicated in a sense. You don't have to build a community their you can actually build it on any social media site after a given time. However, what worked for me so far is developing my own friendship with certain subreddits. If you choose reddit just don't put your content everywhere because reddit hates that.

I've moved this to the Strategies and Technique forum. ^^

Sub4Sub never works in the long run. It's great that you've realized this and plan to grow a more engaged audience! =)
