So I started doing subs4subs... :(

Sure it's bad for your channel that you did that, but I think it was for the better for you as a person. When you make mistakes like this, it's very good to be able to learn from them on your own like you did. Good job on realizing it's bad early on, because I have just over 300 subscribers and the other day someone with over 1.5k was advertising in my comments section. He's clearly someone who never learns.

sub4sub isn't ideal those people really don't help its just an empty number they give you. They kill your retention time

Maybe if you Unsub them then they will unsub you. I'm almost at 200 and one of the rules I had from day one is to never sub anybody. If sub for subbers see this, they won't bother, some still try anyways. I've subbed only the channels that genuinely interest me or are friends I know in real life, which is a true support system.

One of the perceptions of fame is that the star is untouchable, unreachable. If you think about it, do you have celebrity friends? If you project that you're too busy to deal with the people less than you, it will show. It really keeps the sub for sub at bay.

Until soon realising that they are basically nothing and all they do is give you a fake sense of hope or motivation. It motivated me for some time, true enough, but I just.. Understood while roaming these forums how bad it is for you and your channel. I have about 325 subs now? And around 30-40 are real subscribers whereas the rest are subs4subs people. I didn't spam on others' video though, if you guys are thinking that. There are some videos on YouTube which are there to help people grow? People do subs4subs on the comment section of those videos all the time, and yeah, I just got bundled up in it.

So right now, I'm looking to improve my content and gain actual viewers and people who would like to watch me! Since I still haven't given up on my dream to become the top gaming YouTuber of our country, and I'll continue to pursue it! I hope to have some help from you people! :)

P.S. I really hope you understand where I was coming from, I was new to the YouTube scenario and started doing subs4subs without realising it's bad for your channel, and I hope people understand that and don't hate on me. :(
how many views are you getting? a few people that care about your content are worth more than alot of people who dont..

I use sub4sub and I regret it's a horrible method of getting subs. Content and promoting is a key thing.

Don't worry, it can be turned around :). Sub4sub can seem tempting to YouTubers, especially those who aren't getting the growth they want.
