So, How do you become successful?

There isn't an how to YouTube only advice, tips, etc. I would focus on good content., thumbnails, ur niche, use of socials to promote such as Facebook groups, interacting with fans, translating stuff, tags, etc. I would observe other Youtubers and look at there titles, tags, etc..
 
I've checked a bunch of channels who did well. And usually I found they had one video that was a success story and drove all the traffic to their youtube. All it takes is one video. And the really successful ones have a couple videos that are major traffic drivers. you can be huge with a couple big videos.

so if you play pokemon go. when we start all our videos are rattatas. if your video starts to do well thats like getting an eevee. maybe some people are luckier and their video becomes a pikachu charmander bulbasaur growlithe or something cool like that. but if your video does really well, it evolves from an evee into a vaporean and thats like the most powerful pokemon i think. all you need is one vaporean. anyways most of my videos are rattatas, paras, zubats. sometimes i get an eevee. ive incubated a few eggs hoping to get a big pokemon, only to get duds. Anyways haha sorry I just wanted to make this relate to pokemon.

id say pick a video topic that is popular but without too much competition. and put good amount of effort in making it very entertaining and watchable to drive up the avg minutes watched. and before publishing the video, make sure to put time in choosing good tags and title description and a very compelling or attractive thumbnail/cover photo. these are probably the most important things to work on. i think you also have to make your channel associated or associable with that topic. not sure how to do that except for making more videos on the topic and interacting with similar channels on the topic until YT recognizes your channel is relevant to the topic. maybe also you need time to build credibility or authority on topic. so this will take more than one video.

Just keep working hard! Search up strategies on YouTube, talk to other creators you will find out new ways trust me

Yes! I was getting 1,400 views per hour for a while on Thanksgiving.. and now only 300 per hour.. after 4 months of a video everyday.. I think YouTube must have changed something :( Oh well.. I will have to just keep sticking to it!

Hey Derrick Toys!

I have just been looking up toy companies and reaching out! Try looking for different companies on Twitter or Facebook. Try small companies or even local ones. The bigger ones usually have signups with a waiting list. I have gotten a lot of non responses lately :/ I have a baby toy company that sends me things to review, so that wouldn't help you as I see older kids. You can try PlaSmart. They have sent me 3 items so far and will be sending more.
