Guess it depends if you are comfortable with it. I am not the best looking guy in the world, but i show myself because i just think "whatever" lol if it's comments that might lower your self esteem that someone might want to avoid, then i guess it's fine not to, but don't let ANY of those comments go to heart, on the internet you have a little chance in figuring out if the person is trolling or expressing their opinion. Usually it's to discourage you so you stp making video's, but forget those people

I lean more towards using a logo. Maybe you could make a caricature of your face. If you use an actual image of you, after awhile, you ain't gonna match =)

As for me, I was incognito when I first started here so I just snipped my forum avatar from my real logo.
