Should Your Face Be Used As Profile Picture? Benifits?

It depends on what kind of videos you make. If you make lets plays or something were your not on camera often I would use something that would show off your channel since people dont know "YOU". For vlogs and those kinds of things A Picture of your self is perfect becasue its what viewers see everytime that press play on one of your videos.
 
For vloggers, it would make sense.
However, for gaming channels, I guess the only benefit is:
  • Letting people know what you look like and stalk you
  • Being noticed in public (see above)
 
Vloggers should definately use their profile picture or something that is personal to them as a pro pic. It makes them look more realistic.
 
I think it depends on your channel. If you never show your face on your gaming channel, but have a constant logo then the logo should be used. It's whatever the audience associates as the "symbol" of your channel I think.
 
Well if you a beautiful girl then you should do that ASAP!!! But you now a girl xD

So you are growing a gaming channel, if you usually doing facecam in your videos, then you should consider using your face for avatar (remember to make it impressive). But if you not, well you shouldn't, because that's the only time people can see your face, there's no point for that ...

I want to be stalked! No, I do horror games and stuff like that, and that is why face cams are good for that because they can watch your expressions when you get the crap scared out of you!

Which reminds me, there are a few horror games I need to do.
